Top 4 alternatives to Product Hunt
Product Hunt is a great platform to get exposure for your product. A Product Hunt launch will typically give :
- 300 to 1k website visits within a day
- A valuable do-follow like (from a website with 95 DR)
- Interesting user feedbacks about your product
However, once the launch is done you won’t get much recurrent traffic from Product Hunt. You will have the option to relaunch after 6 months if you have released new features.
So what should you do after a product launch? Are there similar platforms where you can also launch?
In this article, I will present 4 alternatives to Product Hunt that you can use. I will be sharing my personal experience launching on those platforms.
The 4 Product Hunt alternatives I will cover are:
December 2025 edit, I added a few honorable mentions:
Microlaunch
Microlaunh works similarly to Product Hunt. You list your product there and need to collect upvotes in order to rank the leaderboard.
Microlaunch has one key difference with Product Hunt: The launch is live for one month. That makes a microlaunch far less stressful than on Product Hunt as you have no pressure to harvest upvotes with 24 hours.
I launch my Sales Navigator search template on micro-launch.
I got:
- 21 Website visits
- 1 sales
Not bad but still a far cry in comparison to my Product Hunt launch for the same product:
- 137 Website visits
- 4 Sales
Microlaunch also gives you a do-follow link from a website with 36 DR:

Microlaunch is slowly gaining traction so it is likely that the DR will improve over time. However for the time being is lacking scale.
It can also take quite some time for your launch to be featured. If you aren’t paying for a premium launch your launch joins the waiting list when submitted. That being said the premium launch option is quite affordable at only $49 (I haven’t tested it yet):

Fazier
Fazier works exactly like Product Hunt. The launch is live for 24 hours and you get a product of the day badge if you finish in the top 3.
I launched multiple products on Fazier:

But it didn’t translate into any website visits. Furthermore, Fazier lacks the brand recognition for those awards to constitute good social proof.
The main benefit of Fazier is SEO as it gives you a do-follow link from a domain with 29 DR.

According to the similar web, Fazier traffic is growing quite quickly:

So in short, at the moment this platform has realy little traffic but it has good potential for the future.
BetaList
BetaList is a more established alternative to Product Hunt.
According to similar web BetaList is getting 96.5k visits per month. This is still far from the 3.5 million that Product Hunt is getting.
BettaList will also give you a do-follow link from a domain with 73 DR (better than Fazier and Micro-launch):

BetaList however, has one big limitation: you can submit only products which wasn’t released. If you want to launch on betalist is recommended to do it before launching on Product Hunt.
I do not have first-hand experience with BetaList, so I cannot comment on the results you may expect.
Peerlist
Peerlist is another relatively well-established alternative to Product Hunt.
According to similarweb, they have 188k monthly visits. According to Peerlist’s own newsletter, the platform reached 100 k users in March 2025:

December 2025 update: According to Peerlist founder the website had 250k users per month (+150% since March).
You are allowed to launch one product per week on Peerlist. You can simply submit your product to the launchpad on Monday.
Competitions run for a week on peerlist so it tends to be less stressful than launching on Product Hunt.
Launching on Peerlist will give you a do-follow link from a domain with 63 DR. It is, therefore, a good SEO hack that I personally used to boost some of Tetriz’s free tools like our AI hook generator.
Peerlist is also a great community to collect feedback. Aside from submitting products, you can post updates about your maker journey. The comments you get are usually quite constructive.
I wrote a full tutorial about how to launch on Peerlist.
Honorable mentions
AppSumo
AppSumo differs from the 3 alternatives I listed before. AppSumo is a marketplace for lifetime deals.
In order to list your startup on AppSumo you will have to offer a lifetime deal, which comes with it set of constraints.
I recommend avoiding launching on AppSumon in the 2 months following your Product Hunt launch as it might lead to some subscription users churning to get a lifetime deal.
I strongly advise against running AppSumo campaign in parallel with your Product Hunt launch. A Product Hunt launch will give you exposure and traffic, you don’t want to send this traffic to AppSumo as they will take a commission on Your sales.
If you want to offer a lifetime deal during your Product Hunt launch is it better to make it as Product Hunt special offer. Product Hunt allows you to list special deals on your launch page:

This is the tactic I leverage with QApop. It allowed us to generate $2500 from our Product Hunt launch. Lifetime deal can be a great alternative to fundraising and give you precious cash to bootstrap your startup. Life time deal played a pivotal role in helping me bootstrap QApop. I will certainly write an in-depth article on the topic in the future.
Launching on Appsumo will give you a considerable SEO boost. Appsumo itself has 82 DR:

Moreover, Appsumo has a large network of affiliates who will review your tools. Once your Appsumo campaign is finished, reach out to those affiliates and ask them to join your own affiliate program. This will help you build a network of affiliates and gain many backlinks in the process.
Uneed
Uneed markets itself as a far alternative to product hunt:
- Daily new products: Every day, we feature between 8 and 15 new and exciting products. Your next favorite tool or inspiration could be just a click away!
- Dynamic Rankings: We don’t just have daily rankings. Our weekly, monthly, and yearly leaderboards ensure that great products that gathered a lot of upvotes get long-lasting visibility.
- Creator-Friendly: In contrast to our main competitor (), whether you’re launching your first product or have a huge audience, Uneed provides the tools and visibility you need to succeed. Everyone is featured > and gets its shot!
- A discovery platform: New products are added to our database every day, classified by tags and categories. Whatever your needs, you can be sure to make discoveries on Uneed!
However, it will take a lot of time to be featured on Uneed if you do not wish to pay for it. By default,t you need to wait 3 to 4 months for your product to be featured but you can skip the queue by paying $30.
I haven’t personally launched on Unneed but Tibo shared interesting stats about launching Outrank

Uneed gave them 86% less traffic than Product Hunt.
Uneed gives you a do-follow link from a domain with 57DR.
IndieHacker
IndieHacker is a great community for makers.
You have the option to submit a milestone to the Maker board on a daily basis. If you get enough upvotes, it will be featured in the newsletter.
However, IndieHacker has one big limitation: with the free version, you can have only one product there.
It is, therefore, a great platform if you are focusing on one product and submit updates often. But it is too limiting if you are working on multiple micro-projects.
Foundrlist
foundrlist is yet another Product Hunt copy.
The domain rank is 19.
Launchigniter
Same story with Launchigniter.
Launchigniter has a domain rank of 71.
Launchurapp
Launchurapp has a domain rank of 27.
On the 4th of December, the website had:
- 834 daily visitors
- 2.8K visitors this month
VibeRank
VibeRank allows you to launch multiple products per month (up to 5 products per week).
That makes it a great platform to launch micro-tools and vibe-coded projects.
However, the product description is mainly AI-generated, and there are few editing options. So I’m not sure this product hunt clone will perform well SEO wise.
Steemhunt
Steemhunt is a website like Product Hunt built on top of the Steem black chain.
In theory, it could be relevant for web 3 projects but I tried to launch a few tools there and it didn’t generate any traffic.
Steemhunt gives you a do-follow from a domain with 40 DR so it can still be relevant as SEO hack.
Closing words
For the time being, there isn’t any great alternative to Product Hunt:
- Fazier and Micro-launch are still too small to provide good exposure.
- Peerlist has a great community to collect feedback.
- Beta-list can be used only for new products and doesn’t allow you to do relaunch.
- Appsumo requires offering lifetime deals, which can limit your future monetization.
Peerlist might be the most relevant alternative to Product hunt right now.
The most recent launch I did recently to compare those platforms is Apify $1M Challenge in December 2025:
- Uneed 40 upvotes & 3rd place
- Fazier 38 upvotes & 5th place
- Peerlist 76 upvotes & 12th place Peerlist was the biggest in terms of reach with 561 views, even so the ranking was lower.
Nonetheless, the platforms listed above are worth considering for link building and boosting your SEO.

FAQ
Is there a website like Product Hunt?
Yes: Fazier, Steemhunt, and Uneed both offer daily competition similar to product hunt. However, their web visits are much smaller than Product Hunt.
Shall I launch on Appsumo at the same time as Product Hunt?
I would advise against it. Launching on Product Hunt could be the occasion to launch your own Lifetime deal without passing by a platform (which means saving on transaction fees).
